Bad Company 2 problem

Hey Guys, I bought BC2 the first of the month and have had no problems till today. I added McDee as a friend and sent out friend requests to a few others. Still no problem as i was able to still play till i tried today.
When i try to log in to the Soldier i been playing i get
THE CONNECTION WITH EA ONLINE WAS LOST.
I tried many times, even restarting my PC.
I googled and found out people talking about ports and
having to delete friends from there list to get it to work.
I only have to firends added and a few others requested.
so i created a new soldier and it connected. any one else have problems list this, i dont want to have to delete my friends to play the game.

Mike, i do not have BD2 yet so I cannot help with this problem. Mabey i will scour some forums and stuff and try and figure it out.

Any other killer offer any feedback for mike?

I have approx 240 hrs of gametime in (and I still suck) I have never had any problem that you are describing. But, I have not been in game for a couple of days, I will give it a try when I get home from work and let u know. What is your in game name so I can add you to my friends list.

McDee would also be a good source of info, he plays BC2 alot.

I have the game and have played some, but have gone back to QW just because I am already familiar with what is going on and usually don't have much time or energy to figure something new out. As of right now, I figure my lack of time will continue for the next month or so. I am having to do a complete reorganization of my house while mantaining the other details of life. I miss playing with you guys and hope to get back in there soon.

hey mike I was on with you for a few rounds and yes sometimes I can not connect to ea server. The game is ok .but to many snipers and campers just waiting for ya to respawn. The game is kind of laggy.
does anyone still play etqw?

I am opposite of everyone. I just dont enjoy gaming myself as much as playing with a teammate ive started to hang about on ftps teamspeak 3 server with ld during eurotime then come on coptics at night.
