About Me

I am a digital design professional currently working in Chicago, IL. My design experience runs the gamut from typographic business cards to university catalogs.
I have drawn, painted and been involved in creative projects my entire life. In 1996, I started using adobe’s creative software while working as a screen printer.
Always having had a fascination with printed media, I set out to learn as much about the printing industry as I could while mastering Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other applications related to graphic design and production. I meticulously pored over software manuals and books about printing, design for print, production and any other related topics I could find.
This consumed an average of sixteen to twenty hours of a typical day.
Learning one production method after another in signage and printing plants I learned to walk the thin tightrope between great design and efficient production. It was in these fast-paced environments that I gained a wealth of production knowledge and project management experience that sets me apart from other designers.
I currently do freelance work for a variety of digital applications and contract work for other companies in addition to several private projects.
