This is not a tutorial. It is only a glimpse into how I go about creating a custom font.
I created the regular weight version of a font based on my handwriting and have it about finalized. As this has been a project squeezed into spare quarter-hours along quite a few years, I finally decided to finish it, but when testing wanted a bold version.
